Chapter 2 · Meet your guide

The Climate Warrior

Climate Warrior: “I carry the IRV Framework: Implementation, Reporting and Verification. It tells a school what to do, who does it, what proof to upload, and how it is checked. Today I am visiting a school that wants its first star.”

Chapter 3 · The road to every school

Making schools model hubs

  • Encourage students, teachers and schools to adopt eco-friendly habits
  • Bring climate, air, water, waste, indigenous plantation, energy saving and WASH into school life
  • Train teachers and staff, and let students lead Environmental Clubs
  • Link with parents, communities and civil society, and certify schools that show progress

Chapter 4 · The school gate

Four students are waiting

Ayesha, Hamza, Maryam and Bilal: “Welcome! We have a lot of questions.”

Climate Warrior: “Good. Today we walk the whole campus together: six sectors, 41 activities. Ask me anything.”

Chapter 5 · The campus

Six sectors, one school

From the gate to the garden, every corner of the school belongs to one of six thematic areas.

    The 1-star starter path

    Easy-to-get points

These 28 activities are simple, low-cost and need no structural changes. Tap any one to jump to its scene in the mission above.

    The journey of a school

From 1 star to 5 stars

A school’s certificate level depends on the points it earns. Tap a star level to light the board, then see a suggested route for getting there. At the end, the Climate Warrior returns to school to hang the Punjab Green School board.

Star bands are taken from the public programme site (www.punjabgreenschools.com); they are not stated in the two PDFs. The suggested routes are one possible path built from the Star Guide’s activity values, not an official checklist.

    Terms and conditions apply.

    The finish line

A first star is closer than it looks

The Star Guide picks 28 simple starter activities. Completing them earns about 35.75 “easy” points after the first successful uploads, above the 33 needed for a 1-star certificate.

    The Climate Warrior’s pledge

“A school becomes green one habit at a time: a pledge on the wall, a tap fixed, a tree planted, a bin sorted. Start small, upload your proof, and keep going. Punjab’s climate-resilient future is built in its classrooms.”

Upload proof on the programme portal: www.punjabgreenschools.com. Daily air quality: aqi.punjab.gov.pk.
