Accessibility statement

The Environment Protection & Climate Change Department, Government of the Punjab, is committed to making Earth Notes usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technologies.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA on public pages. That includes readable colour contrast, keyboard access, visible focus, skip links, and text alternatives for informative images.

How we work

  • Public pages are server-rendered first and remain usable without JavaScript.
  • Forms name errors next to the field that needs attention.
  • Images that carry meaning include alternative text before publication.
  • Motion is reduced when a device requests reduced motion.

Known limits

Guest articles may include complex tables, charts, or attached documents that are harder to make fully accessible. Where a published file is not accessible, contact us and we will provide the information in another format where we reasonably can.

Ask for another format

If you cannot use any part of this website, email [email protected]  or use the contact page. Include the page address and the format you need. We will reply as soon as we can.

Reporting a problem

Please use the complaint centre on this site if the problem is a service complaint, or email the address above if it is an accessibility fault. We review reports and keep this statement up to date as the site changes.
